Intention

A better future for both humans and the planet demands meaningful practices of leadership and collaboration, starting with the places we live in: cities.

Whether in big cities or small towns, our mission is to foster Responsible Leadership in public administration and inspire cross-sectoral collaboration to drive transformation.

The RISE Cities Fellowship of the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt is a leadership program for public-private and public-civic partnerships that accelerates cross-sectoral projects and initiatives while promoting Responsible Leadership.

The Fellowship is part of the RISE Cities program, which aims to advance resilient, intelligent, sustainable, and equitable (RISE) cities through sharing knowledge, strengthening local ecosystems and fostering citizen participation to create citizen-centered solutions.

We are looking for groundbreaking public-private- or public-civic-collaborations to further develop innovative projects.
